I need to work on the RM shot. lolI'd try to shoot soft enough so they'd just be insurance - I doubt they'd roll that far if I did hit them.
I didn't mention it above, but of course the shot needs right spin.

I was thinking you might be right. I’m getting ready to try this option on the simulator. My first thought was that it would be doable for Efren level players, not sure about us mortals.I’m slow rolling the 5-ball to the far point and trying to freeze whitey on it when it bounces back.
For the guys who like power follow, it won’t work at that angle.
Straightline, Howdy; Which number RM shot would that be, specifically?Looks like 6 goes in the lower corner/side/either upper corner. Landing on those two balls might tie up the 8 unless you got the Ray Martin shot wired.
From looking at your break track worn into the cloth it looks like you break from dead center only.As you can see in 2nd pic. I already put my stick away.![]()
The side pocket force hook shot. That one might be out of spec in this situation. The problem I have with that shot regardless is it rarely comes up and getting to the 6 that way would be in my guessing zone.Straightline, Howdy; Which number RM shot would that be, specifically?

I can't find my copy. Which one's your shot?straightline, Howdy;
Ok, #69, aka The Hook. Shows CB going straight to rail about
1.5 to 1.75 diamonds off the long rail. IF, done the way RM sez. chuckle, who does that?
My thought of the carom shot was based on RM's shot # 43.
Well 8 ball you’re solids. 5 is straight in about 1/2-3/4 5 ball under side pocket. What would you do?
Why not the kick shot in this situation? I’m leaning towards it. Blocks the 15. And I’m golden.Bank it.
That’s not right in the middle. Middle doesn’t feel right. More 8 than 9 gets played on table. Sometimes I break over a little more but Cb tends to scratch in the side a lot from there with the speed I hit it.From looking at your break track worn into the cloth it looks like you break from dead center only.
I’m a 4-6” to the left or right kind of breaker. At least for 8B and 15.
Do you ever use the side rail break for 9B?
