My son and I played at Jillians in Evansville, IN this afternoon. We were both disappointed in the condition of the table. These tables are probably not much over 3 years old if that. Of course they don't know anything about maintaining tables so you can't expect to much. Very nice atmosphere, we played in the private room with big screen, couch and chair, etc. We could not figure out why the table was so slow. I think whoever replaced the cloth put the absolute cheapest they could find on the most expensive table you could buy. I know that could be part of the problem. However, I shot the cue ball from just off the rail from side to side and all I could get was 1,2,3, 4 cushions and back to the middle of the table, that did not seem like much to me. Is it all cloth or are the cushions bad too? Also noticed cloth loose on one of the cushions from people sitting on the table but I did not shoot at that one.

Hitting 4 cushions, back and forth (either side to side, or up and down the centerline), is the norm for almost any table. Occasionally you can get 5 cushions, but usually only on brand new cloth, and fast cushions.
