Last time I posted my previous cue, some commented the photography made a lot of difference and it seemed deceiving. So this time, I will post initial pics taken from a camphone under a flourescent light. There are no professional photography and lighting effects here. No camera tricks. :)

Too bad pics aren't that clear and the figure of the dark kamagong is not very visible. :(

Maybe it is best seen in actual to appreciate.

Specs:

8 points figured dark kamagong
bird's eye maple forearm
figured dark kamagong handle (wrapless)
figured dark kamagong buttsleeve
elongated ivory inlays (both forearm and buttsleeve)
double silver rings in between all joints (shaft to buttcap), ebony & ivory windows
3/8 x 8 radial pin (wood to metal on shaft)
black bakelite buttcap
13mm high density shaft
triangle tip (hard)
19.2oz weight
58" length

Please don't ask me yet how it hits. I haven't even chalked it. But my cuemaker said it is hard-hitting. :)

how much would a cue like his cost the American public?

Bautista's been coming out with some SICK plain jane / merry widow designs. Too bad there aren't any reviews of him out here.

the reason why lately there are many plain janes and other designs coming out is because it's the customers who request for it. we make custom cues - customized to customers' specification up to the littlest of design and measurement - not "custom" cues just made by the cue-maker with the cue-maker's preference and taste, then just sell and push them to customers. we have the customer interest first in mind, not our own preference. so the ones you are referring as SICK are really the countless customers we have who ordered those cues because it was the customers who wanted those cues to be that way. that is precisely why it's called custom-made... customized for the customer. we could make custom cues of our own design, no problem with that... but for the meantime as orders are piled-up positively, it may have to wait. just next week i will be shipping another 2 cues to the US. i have been shipping in US, UK, canada, australia, germany, hongkong, singapore, vietnam, and soon to romania too.

for your query, the american public can have a cue like my 8-pointer for only US$625, with razor-sharp handmade points, and everything you see white is ivory - all 56 pcs. of genuine elephant ivory inlays. i'm sure that price ain't SICK. have a nice day sir. :)

"Sick" would be slang for an awesome, incredible, beautiful, OVER THE TOP design.

I love plain janes. In fact, I think I've complimented Bebot's designs in previous posts.

Sorry for the miscommunication.

oh man... i deeply apologize for the misinterpretation. :frown: i am sorry sir. it was just not usual for me to know that slang. from where i came from and from my experience, "sick" was kinda on the other side of meaning. :(

my apologies. :sorry:

LOL, that's okay. No worries.

Does Mr. Bautista have cues ready for sale? or does he only take custom orders?

we only take custom cue orders. but there is one i believe that doesn't have an owner yet. please see: http://bebotbautistacues.synthasite.com/in-progress-2.php

this cue can be ready in 2 weeks. however, we have a problem shipping ivory-laiden cues to the US so i haven't shipping cues with ivory to the US for quite some time now. i had a sure buyer of my personal playing cue, this cue above^ but the problem is i can't ship it to the US. :(

however, we can provide custom plain janes for probably the fastest waiting time you can find anywhere. though as fast as it can be, quality and performance is never compromised. all our woods are already kiln-dried & settled.... and i give unmatched warranty for the cues. for non-plain jane cues, we still have the fastest waiting time of minimum 4 months.

it's almost a year since i made my last post here in this thread. this cue is already in germany a long time ago. but come to think of it, i failed to put at least decent pictures for this ex-cue of mine. so here goes...
