~~>86 Mottey 4 point 4 veneer for quick sale~~<

This should be quick guys as I am pricing this one to move quickly...

19ozs
15 oz butt
4 oz shafts<<<1 @ 12.75 2 @ 12.73
A thin red or tullipwood? deco ring in the butt sleeve.
I don't history of the cue, but its MINT and I would have to assume its been refinished. I am not a linen fan, but this wrap is truly one of the BEST I have seen....Its double pressed and feels like Tascarella smooth leather.
Shafts have some play and the ferrules are ivory....No flaws in butt at all.

The first $$$$$$$SOLDDD takes this cue. Paypal add 3% or "cashiers check or MO....and of course shipping is INCLUDED.

Call me, text me, pm me, or email me to buy this cue....

Couple calls and questions.....LOTS of interest in trades, and I'm not opposed but I am only for a handful of makers......So how is this still here? Is the market this bad, cause it sure doesn't seem to be when I buy cues from dealers:thumbup:

I will say that this cue HONESTLY plays as close to a Szamboti has anything I have ever had

I thought this cue would be long gone by now. Mottey maked a great hitting SS jointed cue. At this price you can't go wrong.

The '86 Mottey

Lawman, I normally don't post my opinions on cues on AZ. I am going to make a rare exception in this case. I happened to be acqauinted with a few cue makers back then, including Gus S.,Richard B.,Bill S.,Dan J. and Paul M..

If someone were going to invest in a players cue,and get it for a great deal. This is it. Whoever buys this cue will have what I consider the cream of the crop of that mid 80's treasures.

I know Exactly what you mean by the hit of a Szam. It is dead on.

Twenty Years down the road, somebody will be playing with this cue.

Good Luck with the Sale, Lawman.

Well my friend, I can see you have GREAT tastes and know what you are talking about....This cue "pings" like the Szams and the like of that era. The butt is a little bit smaller than the FAT butt cues but it just has that hit.....Fortunately I have about 5 cues that I am in love with know and this one is expendable only to pay for a cue I have coming in NEW....If I keep it, thats ok too..

Thanks for the kind words, and you are 100%%%%%%%%

Wow I cant believe this cue is still here
and every cue that hits stiff and has a steel joint will ping like it is soposto

Hope u sell it ASAP

I am even more amazed than you....On the contrary I have had MANY stiff stainless cues that had no "ping" more like a "Thud" this one is lively and the shafts are perfect size:thumbup:
