Who's coming out?

I don't know if you ladies were paying attention - it's $6000 added on the open division and $2000 for the ladies - ladies only play on Sunday!

Don't forget - Keith McCready, Shawn Putnam and Mike Davis will all be at the IPT event in Florida.

So who is coming? I know Timberly has already booked a room - Markus Funk from Eurowest is coming to display his fabulous cues - Todd Elkins of Parrot Cue will be on site doing cue repairs all weekend!

So let's hear it - who will be there this coming weekend??

I'll be there CeCe. And I know a couple other guys from my area are considering making the trip.

I'm looking forward to it!!

Scott

I don't want to scare anyone away, but I'll be there! I'll be quite rusty though!

Fantastic!! It looks like we will have a huge field this coming weekend. Sorry to hear the Carolina event is cancelled - Y'all are welcome to come on up and play! The field is open for new players as well as old players! It's a huge room, with somewhere around 27 tables. We will be playing non-stop all weekend! Skess - bring as many as you can find!
Look forward to seeing you all!

Beetle: What... no pool tables in the islands? What a great tourney this'll be. Players coming all the way from Germany and even Fiji!

Ha Ha! Actually I did play at a couple hotels that had some tables in the lobby! They had cues completely warped with shiny plastic tips and tables that caused balls to swerve almost 180 degrees! I felt lucky to run 3 balls!

Larry Nevell is coming and Mike Davis managed to get away from the IPT Invitational. Wondering if we will see the Earthquake?

What a GREAT tournament! I had to come off of hiatus to post about this one. :) A special congrats to Pam & Kevin on winning the yr end points. They both worked very hard & deserve it. What makes it even better is that they're really nice, fun people to be around.

The matches were phenomenal! There were a few times that I didn't know which way to turn. Every table in the back area had great match ups...LOL, it was almost like being at a tennis match... I was watching from one side to the other. Both Sat & Sun I grabbed a great seat along the rail and pretty much stayed there the whole weekend. I usually will sit at the tourney table at least half the time chatting with the TPP gang but I just couldn't do it this wkend... too many great matches!

Eggmcdogit, it was nice to finally meet you! Thanks for coming up & introducing yourself. :) RichR & Kathy, always a pleasure to run into you guys. Charyn, thank you so much for the cookies & brownies. They're so good! Celeste, if you have too many bottles of that wine I'll be more than happy to take another one off of your hands. :p Nick, Ceci, & Andy, you know I always enjoy seeing you guys. ;) Beetle, good to see you back in action! Black-balled if your daughter gets any cuter you might as well lock her in her room NOW! :D Thanks for sharing your pics of her.

We were lucky enough to have Markus Funk (i210mfu) from Eurowest cues at the event. Markus, it was so nice meeting you! The cues were beautiful and if I'm not mistaken, things went pretty well... sold a few and have a few on order. They are very nice cues.... nice hit, great balance...they sell themselves. Markus, a special thanks to you for your help. I stopped by the pool room on my way home from work tonight & I'll be stopping by again tomorrow. ;)

I didn't know they were there :(

Timberly, it was nice seeing you again too. It's nice to know that Cathy and I are not the only crazies that like to watch the action at the regional tournaments. :D
Pool fans are missing out, if they are not supporting their regional tours.
