Is this tournament actually taking place in Kernersville, North Carolina? Please tell me that Suzie's Diner is still there in the Town of Kernersville, smack between Greensboro and Winston-Salem. Pilot Mountain, up the road a stretch, is one of the most beautiful places I have ever laid my eyes on.

This is one pool tournament very much worth looking into (IMO)! :)

Sounds like a GREAT tournament, not so far from my home in D.C. either! :)

I really liked that Suzie's Diner. Every day, they featured 20 different FRESH vegetables on the menu which changed daily, delicacies like summer squash, brown sugar-glazed carrots, Southern collard greens cooked with ham hocks, butter beans, fried okra, black-eyed peas, and cabbage. Down in North Carolina, the food just seems to taste better.

If Mike Davis comes, that would be splendid. He's a super nice guy and all, but I sure do see a lot of him in my neck of the woods, which is just fine, except his presence sometimes gets in the way of my horse advancing. ;)

I'm marking my calendar because I like North Carolina a whole lot! :D

Here's a picture of JAM, courtesy of Poolpics by Hoppe, with Mike Davis lurking in the background (LOL)!

BTW, thanks again for posting this tournament announcement. Without you doing so, I may have never found out about it!

we have great hotel accomodations, cheap rates for our players, and free food during the tourney. Good pool, good food, and a good bed...what could be any better! Can't wait to meet all the new faces!

are you goimg to open tables???? or use quarters?????? :

you will be using quarters... but there is no green fee, and it will only cost you 25 cent a game! Prize money consist of entry fees, 1000 added, and then you also have the calcutta. We are also cooking out and providing you with free food, so the only thing we get are your quarters! Hope to see you there! DeAnna
