9 ball object ball fouls-question

I can't find anywhere that it says it is a foul to contact another ball with your cue (on follow through) after hitting the CB first and getting a good hit on the OB. The cue ball did not come near to where the OB was touched upon follow through and would not have hit it in any form in either spot. CB fouls only was the tourney rule. The TD was wishy washy on the call and went with the opposing team who protested loudly.

Does any one have the correct call on this. I may be dead wrong but have never had this called before as a foul. I'll stand corrected but still pissed off at the call. Oh, also if you can't tell...it lost us the match.

Anyone who knows, please correct me if I'm wrong.....I don't want any grey hair over this...but need some clarity. TYIA

Everything could be much clearer if "CB fouls only" was banned....

But from what you are describing it shouldn't be called as a foul.

This reminds me a situation I was in one time when playing APA 8ball about 10 years ago when mistakenly I used a striped ball for the CB.... The CB never moved so it was not a foul... the other team captain got all the balls back to their original position and let me shoot again... I was so embarrassed that I shot the CB into a pocket and gave a ball in hand to my opponent. I still won the match....
