9 ball Open In Delaware

Choice Billiards in Georgetown, Delaware is having a Nine ball Open July 7 2012. 15.00 entry fee 100% payout paying 1,2,3 place with trophies. also having a break n run raffle. Starts at 2pm on the dot sign up ends at 1:45pm . Race to 5 on both sides, alternating breaks and rack your own, double elimination on 9 ft tables. Bring your cash.

How big of a field are you looking to get?

Do you mean that 1st -3rd get trophies, or that you're only paying out down to third place?

What is "alternating rack"? Do you mean alternating break? Is it rack your own?

Sry posted this with my phone so had a hard time getting all the info correct we paying first through third and along with trophies. And its rack your own and alternate breaks. We are hoping to get a good field of 32.

Who won? Charlie or Josh? My guy Vinnie put up an impressive 3rd place finish in a challenging field.

wish we had noticed the tournament announcement,we came up from nc to play cards in dover sat night. drove thru downtown georgetown and saw a packed poolroom,never knew their was a poolroom in georgetown. saw josh brothers standing outside,and i knew their had to be action in there for him to be there. came back thru sunday afternoon and went inside to check the place out. guy working inside was real cool and told us what we missed out on. said there was 19 players,and they had a calcutta. said josh won,also said an older guy came down from smyrna that shot strong. this place has the feel of the older poolrooms from back in the day that had action all the time,no matter your level of play. i will definately be looking for future posts of tournament announcements here,it'll be a nice lil break on my way up to dover
