(edit: please note these three zones are the "desired outcomes" people chose after they shot the 4 ball into the upper right hand pocket in the previous thread (9 Ball Run Out Exercise Pt2). The focus of exercise Pt3 is not about which zones are better. Consider this as a continuing "Episode" which follow the plot from its "Pre-sequel", and the whole story behind the show is about running a difficult rack of 9 ball. It would be nice if we can accept the CB to be in the best and worst position in one of the zones and try to find the best route to run the 6 and 7. I realize you might not have read the previous post and I was not clear enough in the instruction. Thus I apologize again and I hope you enjoy these threads Wei 6.17.07

In the previous thread (9 Ball Run Out Exercise Pt2), we had a pretty tough position play to go from the 4 to the 5. We came up with 5 different routes going to 3 target zones. Luckily the 4 is gone and the CB is in one of the position zone now (shaded blue box A, B, C).
Exercise
1, Put the CB in the best spot in any of the zones, show the best route to go from the 5 to 6, and then the route from 6 to 7
2, Put the CB in the worst spot in the same zone you have picked (don't freeze it to the rail), show the best route to go from the 5 to 6 and the route from 6 to 7. If you can, please save it onto page 2 of your layout

*shortcut on merging CueTable layouts
let's assume you have two layouts in your edit window,
layout 1- http://CueTable.com/P/?@4AXgL@
layout 2- http://CueTable.com/P/?@4BXGI@
If you get rid of http://CueTable.com/P/? from layout 2 and
append @4BXGI@ to the end of layout 1, you get a link w/ 2 pages:
http://CueTable.com/P/?@4AXgL@4BXGI@
