9 Ball the movie.

I started this thread because movies like that get so little distribution they often are no where to be found. I was amazed to find it on demand on a movie channel. At least some people may get a chance to see it.

There are quite a few movies like "Kiss Shot" that seem to be impossible to find and will never find their way on to TV.

Kiss Shot is on Youtube, broken up into 10 minute segments or so. It has a nice story I thought but it is a lil' bit hokey:)

Kiss Shot: Part one, the rest are there too:

I've seen The 9 ball movie. It wasn't terrible like I expected after reading a lot about it on here prior to seeing it.

Thanks for the link to Kiss Shot.

Funny thing, the nine ball always seems to be near an open pocket.

Ruby (the lady that owned the diner) was Phyllis Coates. She played Lois Lane in the 1952 Adventures of Superman.

Check out the sidearm stroke:

You know, as hokey as we think that is, in the original "Hustler", a classic, when Eddie beats the guy flat it is like the same except maybe worse. They punctuated it with out and out trick shots.

I think COM did one of the best jobsever making games seem real. Even the simple patterns they laid out for Cruse to run the balls. It least he really ran the balls.
