Hey guy & gals,

I am going to look at a Gandy 9' Big G this weekend, the table is white and looking at the photos and talking to the owner it is in good to better than good condition and the price is right. When inspecting this Gandy what should I look for as issues or problems in the future. Also are parts and rubber still available for this table?

Thanks

I have had Very little experience with the BIG G. I know they were popular in the south years ago. However, we did a challenge match with Earl and Ja a year or so ago and the pool room redid a bunch of things on that table and so the parts must be still available. If you have trouble I can get you in touch with the people who worked on it. They tried to make the pockets tight and for some reason could not get them supoer tight. not sure if that means anything but thought I would share., congrats on your new table

Every big g that I've seen is hanging on by the skin of its teeth. I like how the table plays but you better and have a good mechanic. A bad mechanic can really tear one up. Ive seen staples holes everywhere on these tables. But if its for your home, and you change the cloth seldom, you may get a good deal and be worth the time.
