96 Southwest = Franklin Era?

I am looking at a southwest with the pin number 461-96. Would this be considered a Franklin era cue?

That cue was shipped well after J's passing.

With that said there was no dropoff in quality, consistancy, playability, etc. when comparing cues which shipped before vs after his untimely death.. If anything quality improved.

Well . . . They start the numbering each year with 300, so yours was the 161st cue completed that year. Given that Jerry died on May 11th, he may have touched some of the components, but he probably did not see the cue to completion. Whether you consider that "Franklin Era" or not is up to you.

Hi Ryan ~

i believe 461-96 is a Jerry Franklin SW.
it has a stiffer hit compared to SW made these years.
a Jerry Franklin SW of this kind of A+ condition is really hard to find.
