What a strange coincidence...,it appears that Shannon tournament on the very same days that Mike Janis has scheduled his tournament...

It is not strange at all. Consider it more like a perfectly timed strategic missile strike. :)

+ we had these dates set aside many months ago for out $20K+ added SCO events. So as to not seperate the players too much we very nicely changed our event to accommodate a different class of player.

PS.... It's a little rude to advertise other peoples events on others events threads. Kindly please remove that portion of your post. Thanks, Mj

Open events, hmmm, thats a good idea.

Can you help me find some information about these kind of events. I would be curious who has the longest running open regional tour in the US. maybe if I could see how they do it I could learn something from their format and improve my events. If you can tell me who they are and who to contact along with how many millions of dollars they have given away over the years and what pro players won their 1st championships playing on this tour that would be helpful to.

Thanks for helping with any research on this.

Mj

PS.. It wouls also be nice to know if that tour ever helped players get sponsorship from the industry. Tks, Mj
