99 Ball Run today !

Just watched the 99, good shooting !!

in the end i think if you were gonna play the ball under the rack as your Breakball i would have played the other side of it.

honestly i would of played the ball that was on the rail as the breakshot. that would of had better opertunities to come back to the middle of the table.

the shot you played as the break, you are only gonna catch a very small piece of the rack and you were fortunate to have at least the shot that you had afterwards.

Regardless great shooting!

i see what you mean by racks not opening on breaks. maybe you should play breakshots that have more cut angle into the rack.
Either that or use a Delta Rack, instead of that plastic rack you are using. thats what i do, and my racks open up a bit better as a result of a much tighter rack (Man i sound like a salesman, Maybe they can sponsor me )!!

Thanks bro, well, i told you about the racks opening, thats probably due to humidity there sometimes. Also no other racks there. I was thinking about breaking from the other side but i did not like it that much. I should have paid more attention to the breakball position though. I would have been fine if i caught the outside of the ball because i knew there were balls coming out of the front rows anyway so i figured to have a shot. Anyway, i will get there again and then watch closer what is available....

99 Ball Run

Sascha, I finally had a chance to watch your 99 ball run. Congrats, on a great run. Like all of us, you shot your way out of some tight spots but got yourself right back on track.
I agree with all your shot selections except the last 3 balls. I would of played that 3 ball in the corner with draw, even if I had to take a longer shot at the 15 (key ball) to get as straight as I could on it. To set myself up with a break on the 11 ball from the right side instead of the left side like you did. You still had a shot on that bank and almost made it. You were right on to shoot a ball in the side and a set up on a great break out ball of the rack after that bank. All in all, very good. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the nice words my friend, very much apreciated. Yeah, i should have taken more time on the last rack but like i said i was pretty sure it would hit the rack but then when i racked em i wasn´t. Well, shoulda, coulda, woulda....next time then to be honest, the way this run went i wasn´t even expecting to get that far...
