$99 Sears pool table...lmao

So I surf this site slickdeals as well as fatwallet.com sometimes. Look at this "great" deal they had on there today:

Its for a Mizerak Sears pool table reduced from $700 to $50. The funny part comes that you have to buy the legs and the rails in a separate package for another $50 (reduced from $100). The table has particle board "slatron"

For a few more laughs, check out the forum where I found this fabulous deal. The people there think this is a great deal. Near the end a few have posted pics of their table, including this gem

apparently the white sticks help the table roll better. :thumbup:

I bought one of those Sears tables used when I was fifteen. Cost me $125. A quality set of balls cost me $135 discounted because one had a tiny defect in it. It sat on the hardwood floor of a frame house for years and I played a lot of pool on it, leveling it every few weeks until I just gave up. I played a lot of pool other places too but for years I could make four balls on the break playing eight ball on any size table and I learned that break on the $125 table.

I shot a little on a home style table a few weeks ago and the way the balls came off the "rails" was disgusting but I still believe that any table is better than no table. My $125 table made me thousands and I eventually sold it and both sets of balls for $250. Ten bucks cost for five years use of the table wasn't bad.
