Registration at 10 AM
C at 11 AM
Start Time is Immediately after C
9-Ball Race to 7 / 5 Final 4 players on both Winner and Loser I will change the races to 9 / 7 with the finals being 1 Race to 11
$40 Entry (Limit 32 Players)
You can prepay by emailing me...I will send you my address and you can mail a check or drop the money off, but I have to cut this off at 32 to get everyone out at a decent time. I will not compromise on the race length to accomadate more people.
THIS IS NOT A POINTS EVENT all money will be paid out. Attendees of this event will have first shot at registering for the points event starting in March

Points EVENT

Thanks to all who chimed in on my 9-Ball at Finley's thread. I got many great ideas including Venue, races, days and how to handle the points event portion of this tournament.

Beginning in March (I will have a date set by the start of THIS tournament) this will transition to a points event where $5 of the entry will be withheld for an End of Year event where the top 16 point holders get in free.

I will also attempt to arrange a "challenge" match between two top players (pro level) race to 31 on the back table. The back area of finleys provides an EXCELLENT match sweating area. These two players would not be able to participate in the tournament, but hopefully, what they can win in the challenge match overshadows the Tournament payout. Challenge match would begin at 5 PM.
 
I was getting ready to mark this on my calendar but it also is the same day as the Billiard Benefit Tournament at Red Rose, FYI.

...still end up conflicting with someone's tournament. Really wish you would have seen my Finley's post from a few days ago indicating the 4th Sat in Fubruary as a target date for this tournament. I was soliciting ideas for a few days and really trying hard not to conflict with anyone's tournament. I would have definatley tried to schedule for another week.

These are good pay outs and a good format, If I can make it, I will be there. But If is the Key word.
 
Hey Rick, don't worry about the conflicting dates. It happens, and you just need to stick to the dates.
The Benefit Tournament draws a different crowd anyways; your tournament is designed to draw in strong field shooters. In fact, this will help their tournament draw better knowing that the top shooters may not be shooting at the Red Rose.
I will be there. Sign me in, i will catch you on a League Night for the Entry.

Thanks Jamie, I have a some someother verbal commits as well, I will post the verbals and then update when I have recieved payment.
Reminder to all, the only way to lock yourself in is to prepay by sending me a check or giving me the money in person, but please post your honest intention on this forum for the benefit of everyone who wants to get a guage of how many are planning on attending.

I will be building on this website, but for now, it has tournament parameters. In the future it will have other tournaments as well as points accumulation for the Finley's Tournament leading up to the year ender.

This is the beginning step to aquiring sponsors to broaden depth and quality of this tournament series as well as others.

Sorry Man! I dont get on here as often as I should!!

Also nice site! You should change the lettering to another color besides black as it blends in with the background making it hard to read (unless you highlight it with your mouse)
 
Update Player List and PREPAY rules

Realizing that prepay is not as easy to do on a short notice tournament like this. I will put your name on this list on you HONOR. If you think you are 95% sure you are coming and only a personal emergency would keep you away, post, email, or text me your name, and Ill get you on.

If you are on this list and have not paid, you need to be at the event 15 minutes prior to the end of registration. At that time, if you are not in attendance, I will begin giving away slots to those who are on the list but have not yet shown up yet. If you HAVE prepaid, your slot is LOCKED in. If you dont show up at that point, there would be a bye given for your slot.

Less then two weeks away. This will be a great warmup for those uf you plannin on going to the Super Billiards Expo!!!
