A 1998 Dale Perry -- what's the value?
We all know the truism that a cue is worth what someone is willing to pay, no more and no less. And most of us know what happened to the value of Dale Perry cues over the past few years.
An old friend of mine recently bought a Dale Perry cue without any knowledge of the market value of the cue. I tried to explain to him what has happened since Dale started marketing his cues on eBay and cranking out about 100 cues a month. I'd like to give him a realistic idea about what to ask for the cue when he tries to sell it. Anyone care to give an opinion about this?
Butt weighs 15.12 oz. - shaft #1 is 13 mm and 4.27 oz. - shaft #2 is 12.75 mm and 4.1 oz.
Cue is straight apart and together and no dings that I could see or feel. BTW, the cue plays very solid with either shaft.
