A few months ago I was flipping channels and there was an episode of "Bonanza" (a 60's- 70's western, for our younger viewers) involving a pool hustler. At the end of the episode he shoots the "Butterfly Shot." Always wondered who the technical advisor on that was.

IDK but I also remember a very good episode of Gunsmoke that had a cool pool match.

Had to be a newer episode, I watched all the old B&W episodes on Netflix a couple years ago. There was a couple scenes with guys hitting balls but they were brief, very brief. as I recall.

Here's another pool episode (excerpt) from one of my favorite sitcoms.

For those of you not in-the-know, Sanford and Son was based on the British sitcom, Steptoe and Son.
Both are great, in my book.

S&S is one of the greatest TV shows ever!!! "Elisabeth I'm coming to join you"<----I said that one night when I was getting robbed in a game and grabbed my chest like Fred does, it was a great moment in the pool room. I didnt die, but i got robbed
