I'm can't find any ebony for a decent price. Does anyone know where I can get around 20 pieces at a good rate, or does anyone have any that I can buy instead of spending $35/square at bell forest?

also,

Atlas is out of the normal radial tap. All they have left is the undersized. Has anyone used this, or would this be ok to use.......... any constructive comments are welcome

Thanks, as usual.....

The undersized radial tap is what I use for shafts ( unless the cue is going to Asia. If it is, I use the regular one as woods swell there ) .
The regular one is the one I use for the joint pin installation.

I may know where you can get some ebony but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to tell you if I have any for sale or not.

I haven't spoken to these people for a long time. They were big suppliers to Joss and Duffrin. In the past they were very good with small orders and the prices were good. Check them out, may be good for you or a waste of time. Like I say, I haven't talked to them in a while. The flayers I was getting had a section titled pool cue stock.

The undersized tap is nice and TIGHT. Run it in and out 2 or three times with wax.

Alright. I wonder if those radial pins that Migliore makes will work with this tap?

BALL screws by Migs, you mean.
Yes, they fit fine.
The barreled ball screws he makes have .370 to .371" barrel and the bottom threads have .364" OD.
