This cue has been sold.

this is going to sound weird maybe, bryan, but i've always felt your cues seemed to be built unusually "crisply". they seem to have this "crispness", like everything is cut clean.

i don't know why just your cues,,,,,it's just something weird i can't explain. even you simple cue, the cheng cue, looks very clean, like the edges are nice and sharp. the explanantion eludes me. :) i think in that case it's the thin black ring at the butt that brings the whole thing together,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,nice touch

I've always thought the same thing, and my only conclusion is that Bryan cuts his buttcap really sharp, w/o any rounding to the edges. Perhaps that's enough to conjure the feeling of "crispness" to his cues.

I agree

You know' I totally agree. For some reason along with great design and perfect finish there is a unusual very strong crispness to his cues. I had one that was truley one of my favorites and it hit wonderful. Chop chop Brian. Great work. You will be a prononimate cue builder very soon. Thanx Aaron

How much does a cue like this one go for? Nice, and dare I say, at least from the pics, that your cues appear to have the workmanship of a Bender. I hope you don't take offense. It is a great compliment.

My all time favorite cue is a Bender with an ebony forearm, snakewood long points with a single holly recut "veneer", short ivory points, and rosary bead rings with ivory joint and buttcap.

BTW, do you do other style ringwork, and are your cues otherwise marked? What is the wait time for a cue similar to the one you pictured? Thanks.

Hi Scott:

That cue sold for $970. Thank you for your compliment and no offense can be taken. I have only seen a few Benders in person and they are truly awesome cues. Almost every cue I make these days uses the nickel silver slotted ring pack. I am fond of using the 12 slot although I did do some with 8 slots.

I don't normally mark my cues. I have signed a few but dislike doing it, I think it looks terrible. It is my hope the workmanship and style of the cues will make it recognizable.

My turnaround time for an order like that is around 9 months give or take a catastrophe.

Thanks for your interest and kind words.

Bryan

Nice looking cues. I can't wait to see Riley Pugh's cue when it is done. Any clue when you will complete his? ;)
