I'm excited to get my 3/8-10 pin installer! In the past I've made these out of delrin, but the glue eats away at the face, making it installs inconsistently. I approached Lee with this design and thought he could add this to his line of tool gadgets!

I'll be sure to post some photos and a review when I receive it.

Thanks,
Zim

Zim, I didn't hear about this pin installer when we talked yesterday. Are you holding out on me? lol
I'm looking forward to reading the review!

Joint Pin Installer...

This came out perfect!!! I sent Lee the drawings and measurements for what I was wanting. With a couple modifications, wahlah! We have a new joint pin installer jig on the market!

It's made of brass (like the maintenance kits), one end has a 3/8-10 female hole approximately 1.25" deep, the other has an adjustable depth control set screw (modification to original design). This set screw allows you to adjust the depth of the hole, thus adjusting the length of joint pin that will remain exposed for the shaft to attach to.

I will have to have a few more made with different size threads, you just never know when you have something different to install.

I will be using this this weekend and will post results, but for now, here's a few photos. I have a 3/8-10 joint pin sitting next to the pin installer to give you a visual of the size.

Lee- Another great product! Where's my royalties for the design? haha!!
Thanks,
Zim
