Great looking cue Monski, To whomever is interested that I used to order a Tony's cue which is really impressive, the cue hit tons and the craftmanship is flawless! I just ordered another one which is now under constrcution, guess will be delivered within a month, I am looking forward to get mine and is really excited;)

That is one of the Nicest Cue Designs I have seen, who may I ask is the BUILDER?

It's a Jazz cue by Tony Bautista. The ivory ovals at the butt sleeve will have images scrimmed onto them... btw, I had a big input in that design.., (cough cough...)

The only person's cues I'd buy from over there is Edwin Reyes, it's to bad that many get caught up in the price instead of the quality and experience.

The inlays look huge imo.
Is the buttsleeve african blackwood?

It is a beautiful cue, but for what it is worth I agree with Joey, assuming he is talking about the pointed ivory inlays. I think the shapes are nice, but they are too large. Assuming the points are ivory, ivory points are a big deal, and they and the ovals should dominate, and they don't for me because of the size of the inlays. If the pointed inlays were smaller, the ivory points and ovals would stand out, and the pointed inlays would accent the cue and draw the eye from the points to the ovals rather than standing out over the points and ovals.

Just an opinion...

It does except the buttsleeve and the birdseye background.

I can assure you that price was not a consideration in making this cue.

Yes. But remember that the ivory ovals will have images scrimmed onto them. The ovals are not the finished look for the butt sleeve. After the scrimm, it may turn out better or worse... hehe. Once the images are on, I thinks the ovals will definitely dominate. That's why we wanted to make the points make the forearm look hot... burning, well, we'll see when its finished. But the post is well taken. Thanks Kelly.

Tony is familiar with that project too. The BE inlay right? I wished that SW belonged to me too.

Gabon Ebony if I'm not mistaken...are they the same?
Some people say they (African Blackwood and Gaboon Ebony) are the same, but I'm pretty sure they're two different genus.
