Can someone recommends a good cue holder?

I've used Q-claw, too heavy, and you really need a large flat surface to use it.

Anyone used Porper clamp holder? Anything better?

Thanks in advance.

I have used the Porper (4) slot Cue Holder and it works great IF
you first line it with Felt.

Otherwise, your Cues will end up with marks on them from the clamps.

I also have a (2) slot Cue Caddy which is constructed entirely from
Rich Cocabolo and soft rubber clamping areas.
It is "Total Class" and even comes with it's own Case for storage.

I bought a (4) slot Cue Caddy in Cocabolo also, but it's too bulky to
carry around to Bars and Pool Halls.

I have a cue claw but use my case sometimes. Just insert the butt into the case and lean the case against a chair, obviously when the hall isnt mobbed.

Cue Holde

I use a Tiger Paw works great and has lasted 4 yrs already.:thumbup:Sorry if a Q claw is the same thing never heard of those. If so you are right it works best on level surface and does have its limitations.

These work great - holds cue securely and it's made of rubber so no chance of harming the cue.

I'm a nut for cue holders and other paraphernalia (you should excuse the term). I've never found a cue holder that fill all the criteria I have for them.. i.e. secure, light weight, won't scratch the cue, fit in the case pocket nicely, etc.

I think the old trick of laying the case on the table or chair or rail and then laying the cue against the case is probably the best but that ain't what I want either.

What I want does not exist and I don't have any ideas of how to make one that will work in all circumstances, is easy to carry and will hold the cue securely without scratching it.

The cue claw for two cues is the best I"ve found... but I don't carry mine.

I use the Porper 4 Q holder. The rubber clips are very flexible and never had a problem marking a cue.

The cue serves no master when not in your hand Grasshopper.

I use a Q Clip. It works pretty good but it is to bulky to fit in the case. :( I am thinking about getting a Q Claw.

Had one. It developed a 'memory'. After using increasingly thicker wood to make it clip, and it developing a thicker and thicker 'memory'. I had to toss it.

I use the Q clip also. Works pretty good. You can clip it to your case strap or handle to carry it.

To keep mine from developing "memory" I slip the clip part back on top and snap it in place. No problem so far. Hope this makes sense
