I wanted to say that I had a pleasurable first time at Derby City Classic, particularly in the AZB room. Many thanks to Timbers, Williebetmore and Steve Malaoko (sp?) for organizing this. Your hard work and time is much appreciated.

It was great meeting the faces behind the names. I'd list the names, but I'd know I'd forget some and wouldn't want to leave anyone out. You all made it a fun and enjoyable time.

I think I played more 1P in that one week than I ever have in the last 6 months.

Steve's last name is Lomako. ;)

Paul, it was a pleasure meeting you and hanging out with you. I hope you can make it out again next yr. You were always pleasant, and stopped by the booth to chat at times. Best of all, you could take a joke and dish it right back. I like meeting people that can do both... most can dish it but not take it. You're a good sport.

I'm glad you had a good time and don't feel bad about the names... I'm just as bad. Unless they were there the whole time, or stood out in the crowd like Big Nasty & JCIN, I'm not going to remember names either. :o

mthornto's video's are helping me put the screen names to the faces.

Unrelated Story about the AZ room:

I thought it was funny in the AZ room when someone asked the X-breaker guy what he was breaking with. He said, "Just some piece of crap I got off the Internet".

By the way it was pleasure to meet you Ummagumma.

Paul, I was supposed to have played Hal some 1 hole but I had to leave
before he got there. How would we match up? If you think I would
win, pm me. I might play him next year.

Hi Hal,

It was nice meeting you. Yes, I remember someone asked me about my cue after he saw a jump shot I made, and I said, "it is just some cue I got off the Internet...":)

I did not really want to promote the X Breaker in the Az room--just wanted to hang out and have fun with everyone.

I usually have lots of phone calls, emails and what not during the day, so when I go to play pool, I just want to relax. Most people I shoot pool here back home with do not even do what I do for a living.:)

I will be looking forward to meeting you next year.

Take care,
Richard
