Since there was a lot of confusion in that other thread, here is a video illustrating the two possible ways to make this tough, cross-corner bank. The first is with a double kiss and the second is clean, with a single hit on the object ball. Notice the difference in the path of the cue ball on each shot.
This position is easier than the other shot I posted, which had my cue stick over the pocket. The cue ball is on the spot and the object ball is frozen even with the third diamond (a diamond from the side). Anyone with a reasonable stroke should be able to make the double kiss as it only takes about half of maximum right side spin. However, I think this is about at the limit of the double kiss shot. I tried thinner (cue ball to the left) and couldn't come close to the double kiss.
The clean bank takes a lot of right side, like more than most players have ever used before. You have to throw the ball backwards.
Nine-foot Gold Crown 3, Simonis, relatively clean balls.
