A List of All The Billiard's Shots ( Not completed yet but about 170 shot is named ) :

Air barrels : When a player is gambling but has no money & can't

pay up .


Angled kick : Shot with draw or follow .


Artistic : Amazing performance .


Attack : potting ball(s) legally & getting good position on

the next one .


Attacking : Leaving the opponent with a very difficult shot

on his turn .


Avoidance : The cue ball path is controlled to avoid hitting

surrounding balls .

I couldnt understand it and then i seen where you where from.I guess i have to find some way to translate it.

FYI, my "Video Encyclopedia of Pool Shots" is broken down into 50 main categories of shots. Here are detailed lists of shots under the two first main categories: Basic Shot Making and Position, English and Position Control.

FYI, I also have a fairly complete online glossary of pool terms, phrases, and shots

You are un-polite , rude & very sel-fish , jumping to so many threads , advertise your site & yourself .

We watch your videos ( your stance , specially ) just because it gives us all the laugh possible . Look at it your self , it may ashame you , too ) .

You are only welcomed to my threads if you be polite and have your says about the written matter .
 
I'm a bit confused also.

Calling someone rude for posting another source of similar information and then being extremely rude about it ... I'm boggled.

Sorry, I didn't mean to cause an "international incident." :confused:

You were sharing a list of shots, and I thought you might like to see similar lists to compare (or add) to yours. I'm sorry you thought this was insulting or inappropriate.

Tom and I worked very hard to come up with a complete and categorized list of shots. The documents I linked provide the lists.

I hope this is just a case of miscommunication and poor translation....i will withhold my RED REPS..... but an explanation is in order I think. My take was the same as the previous poster.....Dr. Dave was simply providing another source of info.....Your negative comments about his stance and videos....and the oblique reference to his being self centered were the rudest comments in this thread I have seen thus far.......Dan

Regarding your stance : nv2-5_stoke.wmv ( take my advise and change your stance to a correct one . You will improve , then ) .

We do talk about your and others billiard's view in adibon academy in iran and as you know that does not mean we have to accept them all .

I came up with a list of about 170 shots ( definition , terms , slangs , ... ) and i hope we all want to improve billiard till it becomes an olympic game or at least i do .

Be kind & read my article then advice to me where i have it wrong .

Do not take any thing personal . We are all here to improve " billiards " . Are we not ?

Don't be comfused . Dave made it simple by saying he was sorry . I am sorry for being extremmely rude , too ( in case you thought i was ).
