You know and I know I don't play anywhere without alcohol. I'll run out and bring you whatever food you like after you accept the eight. NO alternate breaks, either. How can I jump out and be a frontrunner alternating breaks?
 
Shooters in Greensboro 6/21&22

Hey Crawfish,

Shooters in Greensboro has an open double elim $1000 added 2 day-er this weekend (BJ's home turf). I would suspect Mike Davis, Michael Fuller, Sparky, Abernathy, etc to attend again. There will surely be some action the night before (Friday) and after Saturday's play.

I'm brand spankin' new here, and don't have a clue what you mean by CUBC as a playing qualifier, but if you give me the 7 and out... ;)

And, yup. Lots 'o alcholol (and food and red bull) available.

Yeah, I was hoping to get off work for that one. I was at the last one (Viking event). I think I finished one round out of the cheese, like 16-20th? There was a huge, great field of players, I know that. I don't know. I might try to venture up Saturday night, if I can. How, or better yet, why would I offer you weight and I don't know you. I am not Sparky or BJ, or Jeff, or Mike (either). We sure had a blast at the last two events there. That damn Fuller knocked me into the losers bracket last time. Broke the balls like Zeus. I've known Mike for years. One cool customer. Peaches, too. I'm easy to get a line on. I actually go by Crawfish.

Called 7. 10 ahead for $1k. You said you wanted action, and I doubt you'll find better action in the entire state.

And we're working on getting Larry here along w/ Johnny. From what I understand Johnny has some promotional stuff to do this weekend but there's still a chance he'll show. Larry probably will be here.

Well, I am one cute SOB. You might have the best bartenders in the state. I got one for you. I give you the six and the break. You pay out $100 a game to my $50. Damn, I don't want to miss this weekend.
 
Crawfish - that was my first ever tourney - the Viking stop at Shooters. My hi-lite was getting a first round bye. I was too hyped up and - pow - down 7-2 before I could breathe. I got it back to hill-hill before my masse escape took a bad roll after a good hit and found the 6 inch coffin. I got waxed in the losers bracket 9-5. I recently picked up my cue after a couple decades of dust collection while I dabbled in golf. Low and behold I discovered every "player" has a jump break, so I just picked up a poison vx2.9 and made my first jump shot the other day. Jump for joy, oh boy!

If you stop in at the tourney, shoot me a pm and see if we could meet. I'm hitting a Pink Floyd Tribute band concert/lightshow on Saturday night though. Any other time I am probably green light.

Will do. I was the bald guy who beat that Russian kid hill-hill after coming back from 8-2. I was in with Higgins playing that kid from Wilmington. Wait, that was the tourney before.

You're fourteen? Damn, you don't look a day over twelve. I play two days a week, if that. There isn't much action here without playin' a stone cold champion that plays for his income. Now, you know that noone would be taking advantage with the eight. You're just grandstanding now.

That's the way it is here. That or little $25-$50 races to 7. I gave up the 8 and 5 shots of Crown the other night to a league guy just to get $100 action. And he had to find a backer -- which he didn't need cuz I lost 7-5.

I'm ready to play with the 7. Guys that play your speed move the cue ball so much better than I do. I pot balls pretty good but it's hard to do when I leave myself behind balls all the time. You play good enough to get out when I miss (if the table is fairly open). With the 7 I'm just hoping that you'll dog the 5 or 6 from time to time. If all you're going to give up is the 8 then we might as well just play even. And we both know that's not fair.

I just want to know how in the hell do you land a job like that? That has to be very close to being a pilot at a shipping port. Cush ass job, no hours at work to speak of and lots and lots of income for it.... Jealous face..:(
