Now I KNOW it's not our Jaybird. Our Jaybird is from Mississippi and I'm positive he never owned a place in Myrtle Beach.

But I think I just read about you beating some Russian kid. Just hope it wasn't Stalev Evgeny (sp?):D

You'll like our eat, drink and be merry philosophy, although I'm more into eating someone else's lunch. :D

I remember you Drater from previous threads when you first got on here. You made some good close encounter reports for quite some time. I enjoyed those and enjoyed you and Keith woofing at each other. Wish I lived a little closer.

Always tryin' to entertain. Eric (Drater) owns Shooters in Greensboro. We've never played any nineball. We have this same scenario every time I see him. Hope this goes off. Of course I don't like giving up the seven, but, on my home court, heh we'll see. He plays on lightning fast, tight Diamonds. Wait until he gets a load of where we're gonna play. The saga continues.

Crawfish is gonna put him on fly paper with 6 peach baskets! I played Eric's Diamonds, and F me, they are the tighest SOB's I have EVER seen. In the beginning I felt like a total imbecile. Now, I just feel like a half imbecile.

Edit: haha, knowing you, we're gunna match up in some sleazy strip club on a 7' coin-op with cloth that not only hasn't been changed in 8 years, but has this strange "stickiness" to it. eww.

Thanks. When something happens up here @ Shooters that I think might be interesting to AZBers I try to keep everyone informed. Sadly, it's been awhile. :(

No telling what kind of action we'll have this weekend with Shannon's tour stop going on.

It might take us a few tries to coordinate schedules but I'm itchin' to play, baby! The back-n-forth is so much fun but it's time we put up or shut up, that's for sure!

As far as equipment goes, I love big pockets, slow cloth and tables that roll off. Hitting the ball hard is always fun! There's also plenty of places in GSO for me to practice on those conditions.

PS, where *are* we gunna play?

I'd like to play @ Snookers or even NYB, but only b/c a) I know where they are and b) a buddy in RAL wants to come watch and he plays both of those rooms. But as long as we're on a 9' table I suppose I don't really care.

We would be at Sharkey's on Olhausen 9', or the "sticky" table at my "Joint." I haven't thought it through though. There are a couple of people who may also want to sidebet. Any possibility? I don't give a shit either way, as long as you and I have our thing. I'll try to call you before the weekend or first of the week. Talk to ya E.
