I just had the pleasure of witnessing a true master at his craft. A perfectionist. His name is Glen or as most of us know him as the real king cobra. He is a table mechanic and I dare say the best in the country. The table he recovered on was a 9 foot diamond pro am. Everything from the rails to covering the slate to leveling the table was done perfectly. I read threads on this site and others that knock the mechanic and complain about delivery or time in recovering or promptness of their order but give them a break I doubt that there are a handfull of mechanics in the country that have the attention to detail or the attitude that Glen displayed tonight. He finished with the table at around 9 pm central time loaded his tools and was off to his next stop 6 hours away. When you consider what they go through we should all learn to have a little patience. I can guarantee you it is well worth the wait. THANK YOU GLEN

Glad you found a good mechanic! Around Houston, having David Rice's number is priceless if you want a great table setup. The guy is a real pro!

Glen told me that Simonis has called upon him to create a DVD on how to recover tables using a new gluing technique that he will be filming in a couple of weeks, and I understand that he is known across the Western US as a/the TOP table mechanic and installer. On top of that, Glen is a top knotch person as well. He really helped me out on an issue that I had recently, and I really appreciate it.

Glen I found to be very knowledgeable and funny. I dont envy his job but I am glad he takes so much pride in his work
