A Mika Chstimas Poem?

A Mika Christmas Story...

Twas the night before Tournamnet, when all through the room
Not a creature was getting action, not even Chris Bartrum.
The racks were hung on the tables with care,
In hopes that Mika Immonen soon would be there.

The players were nestled all snug on their table they rented,
While visions of beating Mika danced in their heads.
And mamma on her ‘laptop, watching on USTREAM’

When out at the bar there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the break stance to see what was the matter.
Away to the bar I flew like a flash,
Tore open my knee and almost dropped my cash.

The “Mouth” Decahine on the bar barking as usual
Wow, he gave the crowd a good laugh below.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But the “Ice Man” and his 2009 Winnings were here.

With black case, and Mezz Logo on front,
I knew in a moment it must be The man.
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name!

"Now Ralf! now, Corey! now, Morris and Thorsten!
On, Chris! On, Johnny! on Donnie and Earl!
To the top of the stage! to the top of the BCA Points list!
Now cash away! cash away! cash away all day!"

As dry action that before the wild tournament start,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky.
So up to the Tournamnet the players would fly,
With the pockets full of Cash, and “Ice Man” too.

And then, in a twinkling, I heard in the room
The prancing and pawing of each little ball clashing.
As I drew in my head, and was turning around,
Down the walkway Mika would come.

He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished with logos and patches.
A bundle of Cash he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a rockstar, just opening his case.

His eyes-how they twinkled! his dimples how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the hair of his head was spike just a bit.

The stump of a tree he held tight in his hands,
And the Kamui tip on the end.
He had a broad face and a little round tip pick,
That he dropped on the floor, he shined his wood with a Q-Wiz!

He was good and smooth, a right jolly young man,
And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself!
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.

He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And put a six pack right out of the gate, then turned with a jerk.
And laying hand out waiting for cash,
And giving a hand shake, we went to the next!

He sprang to Mike Dechaines table, to his take all his cash,
And was hit hard, with an air bail, who would have thought? Ha.
But I heard him exclaim, ‘it’s ok, I’ll play that kid any day, - even tomorrow’,
“A Champion today or tomorrow, I know”
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!"
