Just wanted to share a couple of pics of my new Paul Drexler that I got for Christmas. Took awhile, but it shoots great. This is now my everyday (Mon thru Fri, don't play on the weekends) cue. Paul did a great job. Curly Maple forearm, purple heart points with 4 veneers, Ivory rings, curly maple handle, purple heart butt. It has a modified radial pin Paul calls a Maxi.

The veneer colors are fantastic and really set the purple heart off.

All this and it shoots better than I do ;-)

Very nice looking cue, olgoat. What did you play with before this one and how does the hit compare? Thanks.

I have several, Coker, Samsara merry widow style. But I was mostly playing with a Willee all maple cue which was very nice. I would say the balance on the Drexler is better and the hit a bit more solid with a nice sound. The cue is very slightly forward balanced and most people guess it to weigh a lot less than the 19 oz it actually is.

I got two shafts with it. One shaft has an ivorx ferrule with a Moori Soft and the other has an ivory ferrule with a Moori medium for when my game finally catches up with the cue. :o
