Room Owners, how many pieces of chalk do you keep in your ball trays for customers to use, I put in two.
Have seen rooms that put out a big box and you pick out the chalk you want to use.

Just a quick question because im so bored tonight.

Most rooms I go to The good ones 2 always sometimes 3 or 4 if they know you and your gambling so you can stay focused. Some just have a box of used chalk for you to dig through heaven forbid you get one over 1/2" thick that would be almost close to new to some.

This is why I carry my own just for what ifs and to keep some dry ones handy.

I have small containers on mounted on the wall near the rack for each table. Normally there are four of five pieces of chalk in container.

we leave them out in the room. Most people will never return them or they get pocketed or switched out for the used ones in their case. We go through about 4000 pieces of chalk a year. Pretty high. Guess we should stop doing that.

I still remember RENTING a piece of chalk in Edinburgh Scotland one time. It was a PIECE of chalk. Not an entire cube. It cost me 40 cents just to borrow it.

I was in a Room once in the LA Area, that CHARGED $.25/CHALK. They had a machine you put a Quarter in, and you got a Chalk.
