A New Pool game...? Yes... Look inside...

I’m reasonably confident it wasn’t an April Fool prank. Alas, it now seems like a case of an enthusiastic fellow with an idea that didn’t work out.

It is a shame that Jack has gone quiet on us, but hopefully it will be a lesson learnt for the next time and he’ll try again. 👍

I think he made the right choice!
Meanwhile down in Texas It'ssss Time! for the Texas Open! I saw Woodard/Easton going strong in Jack and Jill 9ball, Gorst hanging out at a picnic table outside and TRex chillin' near the pro cut table. There was very young talent on the tables too. One kid looked 8 years old and was calling 4 and 5 rail shots. I met Spencer from Arizona who loved playing Texas One Shot. Good player, says he is a 500 fargo but plays above it. I gave him a ball to take back to AZ so he can show the game around with style. Anyone in town for the Open who wants to try out the game call me out! I'll be at Skinny's or Eddie's Tavern passing out swag and taking on challengers.

So far as I can tell, they have deleted their Instagram and Twitter/X accounts. That does not bode well for their progress.

Hello all!

New here, and with something a little bit exciting happening over the next few months that I will be sharing with you all in more detail in the next few weeks.

Name's Jack, part of a team that has been developing a new pool game for American and English tables PLUS snooker tables, with 3 sets of balls available as per their respective current ball sizes. Pool on a snooker table? Well, yes... we've all played cricket on one, right?

Grew up in the south west region of the UK, played on a 6ft slate bed snooker table from around age 5 to 9 before dragging an upside down beer...

with the person not even giving his full name or any address of a property.
and very little info about what it is.

did anyone here send money. if they did let me know where you play, so i can find you and make a pool game with you. seems to be a smart move.
better yet post it and lots will find you. so you will be in action all the time.

As close as I can tell, selling the special balls for the game would have been their first large source of revenue. Then, the many leagues that would spring up would be sending them membership fees and weekly fees. And shortly after that, the TV advertising would have been big.

On the other hand, it seems like Ultimate Pool/UK is doing OK. I'm guessing they had a lot more experience and significant funding when they started.

A PO box and answering machine would be a little suspicious.
