I was playing a (pimp? drug dealer?) dude named Semo in Tacoma, and he had been woofing at me to play One Pocket or Banks, neither of which I really knew at the time. We settled on Last Pocket 8 Ball. Semo thought as a "more experienced" player, he'd have the edge if I dogged an 8.
He might have done better had we played One Pocket.
I started off slow, as I usually do, but it quickly became a massacre. I was getting out from everywhere. If I made a ball on the break, I was out. If I didn't, he HAD to get out, or he was toast. He started soft breaking me, to slow me down.
In the following situation, he soft broke, and left one makeable ball off the rack. Something deep down inside me wanted to punish this trangression. A primal instinct wanted me to show him he was shooting like a girrrrrrllllllll. (A girl with a gimp stroke that is. Allison hits em perty sweet!

I had never practiced the shot, but I figured if I jumped the cue ball off a solid contact with the open ball, I could hit the stack with more force, and separate a few balls. I popped in the jump shot, and to my delight, the cue ball jumped up.. and landed DEAD in the MIDDLE of the cluster, spreading everything wide open.
