Welshman Dominic Dale, aka 'The Spaceman", 42, long-time pro but winner of only two significant tournaments, turned up as a peroxide blond at the Snooker Shoot-Out, one frame, 10 minutes, 15 and 10 second shot clock, held, fittingly, at the site of the next Mosconi Cup, the Circus Arena in Blackpool, England, and regaled all who would listen with the promise that, if he won, he would favour the audience with a song.

I loved the cue ball path at 2:51. It was pretty incredible. I wonder if that could be accomplished with traditional weight pool balls and how. I'm guessing that he just had a bit of force follow and the caroming off of the stack enabled the cue ball to do that.

He used a level cue to do this so it wasn't a masse.

I watched the match first but the ending was superb! :clapping:

Maybe it's the money in snooker, maybe it's a different culture or maybe it's something else, but I couldn't help noticing and admiring the demeanor of the winner and the loser of this event.

I think it's just follow, he hit it hard and the cue ball hit a second object ball to slow it down and make the follow more remarkable.

I doubt that he meant for the cue ball to "dance" like that but it was a pretty cool action nevertheless.
