Someone had the idea for a Hockey Pool style Pool for the WPC. Here's how it goes, everyone pick 5 players, the place your player finishes is the amount of points hes worth, lowest amount of points wins it. Lowest score possible is 14 (1+2+3+3+5) . Also if your player finishes 3-4th or 5-8 you score the lowest number.

Here are my picks:
Alex Pagulayan (I want him to get 1st, but he seems to like second place)
Johnny Archer (Not performed well in WPC in recent years, but hes gotta make a comback sometime.)
Efren Reyes (dominating on the Asian 9-Ball Tour, never a tough player to pick)
Yang Chin-Shun (I don't like him, but he is very close to being PERFECT, in my opinion BEST PLAYER IN THE WORLD that hasn't won big.)
Steve Davis (always finishes high at this event, 1 more WPC 9-Ball experience under his belt, could be his year.)

People that say Steve Davis doesnt have game must be Blind!! He finishes very high every year at the WPC with the best 9-ballers on the planet!!

Hey thanks for posting the "pool". It was my idea in one of the other posts. My picks are as follows:

1. Mika Immonen
2. Johhny Archer
3. Alex Pagalayan
4. Efren Reyes
5. Ralf Souquet

These picks are pretty obvious but they seem to be the best guys out there.
I won last years Masters (golf) pool with this very format except we all chose 10 players. There were 81 people in it. By the way does anyone know when the world championship is taking place? Thanks.
