A Question for Low Deflection Shaft Users

I know some disagree, maybe even you since you asked the question, but IMO the second generation predator shafts are closest to the first.
Disclaimer: I'm an average player, not great by any means...
I've had maybe 15 various predator shafts over the years. IMO, with the same tip on them, they all played the same.
I've also tried many other LD shafts, just for comparison... Tiger, OB, McDermott I-series, Mezz. IMO, those all played slightly more squirt.
Some people swear the old Predators play way better than the 2nd gen. But if you look at how many 2nd gen shafts are out there locally, I bet that opinion is the vast minority.
Anyway, if you've never tried a 2nd gen predator shaft, see if you can borrow one to try, or there are lots of new and used ones in the FS section. But put the same tip you are used to (if you like that tip)
My fav tip is a Sniper. Anytime I get a new predator shaft, I immediately cut off whatever tip it came with, and install a Sniper. Then, the feel is exactly like the old predator shaft its replacing.

Semi agree. The old shafts are better, but the 314-2 is the closest you will get. He is right about the tip though, it is going to change the hit a feel a lot so make sure you have the same tip.
A 12.5 mm diameter shaft with a 12 inch pro taper.
