A Report from the Lou v. Barton Match

I am just starting to watch this match now on UStream.. Gonna see if I can get there as a C player, even getting three balls.

Simp and others: I am fortunate enough to continue to receive excellent advice from the people around me, who are both smarter than me and with better souls to boot. The advice boils down to: you didn't engage in all the over-the-top woofing before the match; you stayed classy during the match and let your stick do the talking instead of running your mouth; don't drop the ball now.

And so, I will be writing something up in the coming days about the whole experience and the match. It's gonna be long. And in it I will have occasion to touch upon everything that happened. But I don't want to belabor any particular point and I will not enter into an extended back and forth on this subject. I will say what I have to say but I want my wife, Gail, my backer, Mike, and the rest of the crew that have supported me through this to remain proud of me.

Stay tuned. I promise to try my best to make it worth the wait.

I understand. I didn't mean to make it sound like let's start a pissing match between the two of you again... I meant more on touching base on the match as a whole (while trying to keep it from starting a new war). There are definitely touchy areas that could be addressed on this topic about the match, which is up to you if you want to or not. You have earned that right and if you don't want to, so be it as well...maybe best to bury the hatchet and move on to the next project whatever that may be for you.

Oh I got all that, Simp. I was really just using your post to answer questions and comments I've gotten from a lot of folks.

I'll let you know after June 30th when I come back home from playing in a couple WSOP events on if I got enough moolah for that or not :).
