Hi Geoff,

That looks like a good price. What kind of satisfaction guarantee do you have for your shaft wood?

Hi Geoff,

We guarantee that the wood is going to be what we describe it to be. If you think that some of the pieces we sent do not live up to the description, send them back and they will be replaced at our discretion.

The main thing that I want to make clear on this wood is, I am going to hand select each and every piece so I know you will be happy with it and we should be all good!

I have a lot of the A+ grade wood sitting here that is EXCELLENT quality shaft wood, with 10-14GPI and really nice straight grain. Some guys would probably use this wood on their high end cues, it really is that nice.

The reason the description is a little different for this wood in some of my other listings is, some of the A+ grade wood that we have does have some slight grain roll where the grain doesn't make a hard turn off the side of the shaft, but it rolls gently around the shaft, which will have absolutely no effect of the straightness of the finished shaft. I have about 10 old school cues sitting here in my collection that prove this true. 4 Meucci's 2 McDermott's 2 Pechauer's and a few others, and pretty much every one of those cues have slight grain roll around the shaft and they are all DEAD NUTS straight at about 20-25 years old. So, that tells me that if the grain doesn't necessarily run perfectly straight but it may roll slightly around the center of the shaft, it's still good quality wood that will make a perfectly viable shaft.

HOWEVER, the wood in this listing is pretty straight, I have gone through all of my A+ Grade and pulled out all of the really straight pieces and I am offering them up here, for a sweet price. So, whoever buys this wood is going to get some really exceptional shaft wood for a fantastic price.

If you have any other questions, let me know.

To answer the other guys question, all of this wood is square, we did not dowel any of the A+ grade wood.

Thanks, Geoff

Can you elaborate on "replaced at our discretion"?

Does that mean if YOU don't think there is something wrong with it, you are sending it back to me?

I'm not trying to be antagonistic, just looking for clarification.

Can you please explain what "at your discretion" means?

Randy, why don't you give him a call? His number is on one of his other posts. He has a lot of things going on and probably didn't see this yet.

I talked to him for about 1/2 an hour last week. My impression is he's pretty much a straight shooting no BS kinda guy. My opinion, and this is strictly my opinion, is that if you sent them back and they weren't up to speed he would quickly send you out replacements that most likely would be a little better than originally promised. But, if someone was being a tool about it or there was nothing wrong with them he'd probably just refund the money and end it there. Again, solely my opinion from talking to him. Give him a call, I bet I'm not too far off. I'm very happy with the ones I got but they were the AAA+ and AA+

I've talked to him at length and he responded to me in a PM regarding this particular post. I thought others might want to know what he meant as well, that is why I asked the questions

This is just too damn easy.

Yes, the minimum is 36 for this price, and the minimum is 50 if you want free shipping, so because shipping will be substantial on a box weighing that much, the 50 is a much better deal. And let me tell ya, these are seriously nice shafts for $6.00 pretty much unheard of to get this quality for $6.00. I am hand picking all of them out and being very specific as to what gets sent and what gets culled out. So, order em up, the sale is still on, you will be pleasantly surprised!

and yes, KJ is correct, all square, unless I make a trip to Ricks doweling machine and dowel them all real quick! But then they will be $7.00 a piece. Would that be fair ? Square for $6.00 dowels for $7.00 ?
