On Monday I went to my local poolhall for some One Pocket with whoever shows up, and as I was going through the door I noticed a small sign that read: "Open Sunday at 6pm". I had to look twice because for the past ten years that I know of, this poolroom's hours have been from 11am to close (around 2am), seven days a week.
I've also noticed that business during the lunch hour hasn't been as brisk as it once was, and this particular poolroom has allways had an excellent menu with great food.
Could the sign I saw on the door be a sign of the times? How many of you have seen cutbacks, or reduction in services, at your local establishments?
