A straight pool video; 30 mins.

He got really bad lucky at 24:11 when he tried to break the cluster but somehow found a way between a halley of like 1 ball wide.

That miss at the end was such a shame, he did the same move i make when i get frustrated lol :0

I think it's video downloader, a add on to firefox.

ooops , yes , I stand corrected , I got a kick out of his "speed" straight pool video on youtube , he ran 45 which is very tuff at that speed , the comments as shooting was great!

Nice run! I disagreed with just a few of his shots but he came out OK most of the time. From what I remember, he had to shoot his way out of trouble just a couple of times, which means he had good control. Also, I liked his piston-like, straight stroke. My guess is that he has many years of experience.
 
Thanks for posting the link. Straight pool requires the player to make many decisions and often creative ones. Also, alot of stamina to run alot of balls not to mention concentration for long periods of time. Mental and physical capabilities are really tested in straight pool.

Seriously.

I use Opera, (www.opera.com) but it probably works about the same with Firefox. After viewing streaming media, I navigate to the cache folder and find the newest, biggest file and copy it to a new location. For me, YouTube videos stream in as .flv movie files. Sometimes they are in the cache as .tmp files, but a simple renaming fixes that.

Flash video files can be viewed with a stand-alone application, FLV Player

There are other, related applications on the page, but I haven't explored them - they may be shareware. One of them appears to be able to capture the videos directly. The player is free, and does what I need.
