Ernie Martinez is building me a monster cue. The forearm is Macassar Ebony with 6 points. 3 high and 3 low. Each point has 2 re-cuts. From the outside in the points are Curly Maple, Cocaobola, Gaboon Ebony. It will be wrapless with a crazy figured birdseye maple handle. The butt sleeve is Gaboon Ebony. Well over 300 inlays of silver and ivory will be added. 4 shafts are being made with short ivory ferrules and Moori Med tips. 2 shafts will be at 12.6mm for me to play and 2 will be 13mm to save. All 4 shafts are being hand selected for the tightest straightest grain available from his entire shaft inventory. I feel so luck to be getting this cue and it should be done in a few more weeks.
