A tip for overthinkers.

That sound you hear is the thwack sound of a ball hitting the back of the pocket on a Brunswick Gold Crown.
The sound is Jazz...It is classical. It's a theme in search of a movie
Gold Crowns are going away and Diamonds have moved in.
What? I'm like a frog...staying around until I croak.
Diamonds don't make that sound.
A silent movie. However the side pockets needs some soundproofing.

The deer in the headlights look definitely what I want to see in my opponents. The Die with Honor resolve is the look I strive to project. Even when the heart is racing. 🤷‍♂️ Kinda like a bluff in poker. 😉 It's all in the presentation.
The time for thinking while sitting in the chair, should follow a computer like analysis. Solve the riddle clear the mind and await another turn at the table. A new and improved visit. (I hope) 😉
The histrionics put on by an opponent is intended to distract. I use it to elevate my resolve. "I will give you something to cry about!" Is a childhood flashback. 🤷‍♂️

I think all of the histrionics and BS is trying to convince themselves and others that they are better than they are playing. Not usually true.

I have mentioned it before but a young man had an expensive cue. He must have ordered shafts by the dozen because he snapped one across a table rail once or twice a month. Then one night he swung the cue for the grand finale and smashed the butt across the rail. After a stunned minute he tried to pick up every crumb of the shattered butt to bring back to the cue builder to try to repair it.

My thing was just the opposite. I ignored outstanding shots of my own or commented the ball had to go somewhere. I much preferred a reputation for luck than skill. Very few people quit you because you are too lucky.
