Alright, so I very rarely post something personal, but I'm really happy and excited and honored that the November issue of Pool & Billiards Magazine features a photo I took of Ga Young Kim.. ON THE COVER :) and I even got credit for it (check inside cover). **** does a happy happy joy joy dance ****

Ok, that's all ;)

By the way, thanks to all the AZ'ers who helped Michell Monk make it to the Tour Championships! Heck, thanks to everyone for supporting our players.

Good Job

Congratulations on the cover, I take a lot of pool photos and I'd be so happy if I got a cover shot.

I can see why they chose it, your shot really shows GaYoung's intensity.

What kind of camera set up did you use?

By the way no need to check with the mag to post the photo just post a link to their site, like this:

Ok let's see if I've done this correctly. You can also view the cover under my profile/albums.

Cool thanks :) and thanks for the kind words - One of the things I love about my work, I get to take photos anytime I want to (well, anytime when I'm not busy doing 10 other things lol).

The WPBA owns a Nikon D80 and I use the Quantaray AF 70-300mm Tele-Macro lense f/4.5 (I REALLY want a Nikon 80-200mm f/2.8 and am saving up to buy one for my personal use, along with a D90 of my own). I personally have two 35mm camera's - one of which is my trusty old Nikon FG - its all manual and I've taken some awesome shots over the years with it with a variety of lenses that I own, none of which I can use with the D80, of course! My favorite 35mm film to use is either the Fuji Neopan B&W 1600 or Fuji 1600 color, although it's been a long time since I've used the old girl.

There it is :)

Beautiful Photograph. The true intensity of what's really going on while playing this game, at a high level, is written all over her face.

Nothing against the billiard industry, but we need something like this on the cover of Sports Illustrated. Send them a copy.

Congratulations Anne!!! You always take awesome pictures!
Thanks again to everyone who helped me get into the Tour Championships!
See you soon Anne! Have a safe trip!
