A Wiki website for Billiards ...

HELP!

I uploaded Keith's info on the new website, and it looked so damn easy!

One of the required blocks was to put your name and e-mail address before submitting the article, which I did.

Well, now my name Jam is in the list of pro players instead of Keith's, but the article is Keith's. I don't get it.

HELP! What can I do to change the name? There is no way to do so that I can see. HELP!

Jenny ... More than likely, your name is a Major key field for the entry, and is used for identfying and sorting the entries from everyone. Usual
practice is that any field (specific information) within a file can be changed except for key fields because it changes the structure of the file itself. (and thereby has no past record of the original entry). Allowing key field changes within a file structure takes a lot more work to cover all the bases.

I sent them an e-mail to please change the name and insert Keith's.

When you submit the article, it states that as a user of the website, there are two REQUIRED fields which is your name and e-mail address. I thought they meant my name and e-mail address, which is what I did.

I wish I could undo it, but I can't. Hopefully, they will fix it.

Oh, well, I guess I can be Pro Player for a Day! :o

Agreed, thanks for the link Scott.

The site amazed me already Donovan. Here is an excerpt from a "tip" on buying cues :

"The joint is made with plastic or composite. It's length is usually 1 or 1½" and has no impact (or very little) on the overall cue performance. "

Yes, this site had the potential to become a good one ... more and better content is all that is needed.
