AAA 8-Ball Tournament Results

Enjoyed watching the 8-Ball tournament at AAA in Okc last weekend (Apr 27-29).

Chip Compton took the $2000 first prize, Gordy took second, and Joey took third.

Was a fun tournament! Kent Taylor is definitely one of the good guys. He and Amy work hard to improve this event each year. I look forward to the next one!

Yes, great tourney and I didn't hear one negative comment on anything. Got to see Gabe and Chip play 3 cushion, race to thirty. Gabe plays that game pretty sporty. Gabe got it. John Guffy in attendance also playing good 3 cushion. I think a regular loser bracket double dipping the winners bracket would have given Gordy a better chance to beat Chip. Race to fourteen was tough for Gordy, but that's the way it was set up. Oh well I drew Shane Mcminn first match and he prevailed 7-4. I played well but noticed he plays better! LOL.
