I think this cue has around 400 inlays and rings. It's very over the top.

It really is impressive in the sunlight. Hard to capture its characteristics in still pictures with a phone. I believe there is only one individual that makes these at the McDermott facility. This is 49/50. There's a video showing him making this cue on Youtube.who made it ?
are you the cuemaker?
i am sure it really pops when seen in person
i know my nitti cue with paua the pics dont really show the brilliance of the paua
I'd like to see your nitti cue with the abalone inlays in it, would you like to post it here?who made it ?

Big plus right there.Wow, that is a really beautiful cue! The New Zealand abalone shell is so blue, it really works well with the design of the cue.
With that type of joint, it must have a very good impact feel. My shells are more steel grey in color than the deep blue you have.
Thank you for sharing images.
I went with a production cue this time around. It's really like buying into a system.
1) Shaft replacements are easy to get. Repairs are easy to do. Variety of shafts available.
2) Easy to get weight bolts changed, just buy the kits.
3) Quality really isn't that far off from a custom made and no temperamental cue maker to chase after.
Those mother of peal accents are very nice. Almost all of my cues have some mop or abalone in the designs.
No mother of pearl they are all Abalone in the rings. Those mother of peal accents are very nice. Almost all of my cues have some mop or abalone in the designs.
I see it now. I had to enlarge the image a bit. Really nice ring work.No mother of pearl they are all Abalone in the rings.
It's this cue from Troy Downey
