First let me say that this the 1st year of missing T.S. because of medical problems. What i want to say has already been said many times before. I have never been to any tournament where you are treated this way. Mike is a great promoter and the staff at T.S. treat the guests great, even if you don't gamble at the casino. I have never been to any tournament where you can see so many of the worlds greatest players play for free. And Mike Zuglan always tries to save a few posters for the spectators to have so they can you can collect autographs. Plus, where else can you get so close to the players with the rows of spectator tables between the 2 rows of tables. You are so close to the players it is like they are right across the table from you.
Let me say that i have no vested interest in this in any way, other than being somewhat of a friend of Mike's..I am mentioning this to try to get more people who have never been there to try to make this trip. Yes it may be a little off the beaten trail but it is definately worth the trip. So try to come to T.S. for the next event. You won't be disappointed..enough rambling..............mike

Mike is an old friend and I wish I could make it. I've heard nothing but good about Mike's tour and tournaments. I'm in South Carolina and semi-retired and can't afford to make the trip, presently. Hoping to maybe make Turning Stone in December but I'm not counting on it. When I officially retire next year, it might be possible. I hope so.

Hi Mike,

Looked for you yesterday at the Stone. Now I know why I didn't see you. Also missed you at Amsterdam. Sadly our new pool room owner gave away our billiard table. Always looked forward to playing a game or two with you. Concentrate on getting physically better. Hope to see you at one of the Albany area Joss events this year.

Sounds just the opposite of how they treat you at Viejas for the WPBA tour. The people at the casino are rude, they ask you over and over to see your pass. Wherever you're sitting is the wrong place. And heaven forbid, you don't rush for the exit when the round it over, you get scolded. One thing for sure, if the women ever come back there again I won't be attending. They won't miss me and I won't miss them. And that's how I really feel.

P.S. NO media passes! The only sports event in the world this stupid!

Jay,

Really a shame you're on the left coast. Although the pool scene here in the Northeast is somewhat weak, the Joss Tour and the Turning Stone in particular are shining stars. The Turning Stone is the most people friendly casino I've been to. Other than a few posters, whom I consider to be jealous of Mike Zuglan's success, I've read very, very few negative reviews of the tournament and its host location. The sixteen Diamond Pro/Am tables are set up by Paul Smith. They always play GREAT! In this one instance, I believe I can speak for Mike. You are invited to join the event in December!

Lyn

P.S. Send your entry in real early!!!!! Only 127 spots left.
