Well in my opinion an unidentified person who is passing information of this nature can not be taken seriously, at least by me. In addition I do not care who may come forward and say this source of information is credible I will still not believe a word this poster has said and I will also doubt the credibility of that individual.

Some may say why do you take this stance on this subject, and my answer to them is very simple there should be only one voice that makes public announcements for the ABP and that is the President of this organization MR. Archer.

Now if this does happen to be MR. Archer who posting under this user name with all due respect Johnny what the hell are you afraid of not to use your real name?

Now if it turns out not to be MR. Archer my response would have to go something like this. Johnny why the hell do you have some unknown voice representing your organization?

I really mean no disrespect to anyone for my comments above but please understand, at least from my perspective I would like to hear some accurate information from a credible source like MR Archer himself.

Thank you and also thanks Luxury, I find very very funny that people throughout this thread are taking are taking this unknown person seriously. I mean come on people, while I appreciate your concerns and I am not making light of your opinion or your thoughts on this subject but, FE FI FO FUM I smell a Troll who is trying to be important by getting a rise out of our membership!!!!!!!

That is how it should be, a face with a user name. With that said there is no doubt about the credibility of that there, as for this thread I think I have already stated my opinion.

The US Open is the hardest tournament to win in my opinion. It also happens to be the hardest tournament to get paid after you win. The ABP is trying to fix the second part and it sounds as though they have been trying in one form or another for some time. I hope that the ABP pros will end up playing as the event will not be the same without them. Pool is in a bad state in the USA right now and maybe it will take something like this to help move things forward. If the players truly stick together through something like this then that is indeed a step in the right direction.
