Thank you to all the fine members of the ICA and ACA who has contributed to this topic.
The changes of any administration will upset the the previous one everytime.
They always do some changes to promote themselves and distance themselves from their predecessor. Unfortunatley Mr. Jacoby's changes have hit at the heart of the ACA principles which Dan with others fought to get a bunch of very egotistical self center men to agree too.
Everyone be blessed
Mr. Lincoln
Mr. Lincolin, I'm appalled at your thread and statements. You have your opinion, and it should be just that, yours. You have no voice in the matter at all.
I'm in no way trying to start a war, [ so no one go there, thanks], your way off base, your not a member of the ACA, your opinion should be just that, your opinion, and kept to yourself.
As the founder of this fine association, I, do know sir, that your wrong first off writting about an association you know nothing about, secondly, you have not heard both sides of this, and never will. Stating such an opinion, is within it's self, is dead wrong, not knowing all there is to know, from both sides.
Your statement about change from one administration to the other will up set one everytime, is not so true. When I, sir, was president for two terms, and vice persident for two terms, handing the association over, was not at all up setting. For the record, I did resign during my second term as President, for personal reasons.
Dave Jacoby is not changing so much, he's moving ahead, and I, might add with a great board, and doing a great job. Your only looking at this thru one persons eyes, not thru the associations eyes. It takes the board and it's members to change things, they wanted change and got it....
I personally feel that the curent administration is doing a fine job.
I should know better than most, as I was there from the get go, laying out rules and by-laws that still stand today...
Not taking anything away from the past adminstraion, or past board members. All worked very hard, and all were thanked for there work.
Please do not take this wrong sir, it's really time for this thread to go away. It should of never been posted, as it never belonged here.
Let us all go on with our lives and businesses, there's other topics that are much more important than one sided, gossup columns...
I, know that my late wife, {JANICE}, as a founder, would agree..
So, please put it to bed..
Leonard and Janice Bludworth,
founders of the AMERICAN CUEMAKERS ASSOCIATION.
